Isle Bastimentos

Here is a map of the island. Points of reference include: YWAM base, Red Frog beach, Salt Creek village, and Pedro's village. I copied this map from Google and then added the extra points along with the panga routes taken to these places. My additions are approximate.

We loaded the panga and set out for Bastimentos...
..with a full boat.
The first stop, though, was to refuel the boat's tank with gas at the gas station on Isle Caremero.
After refueling, we went past Isle Solarte to the south.

This particular spot is called "Hospital Point" because there is a hospital there built during the bannana boom.

Finally we reach the YWAM base at the Isle Bastimentos.
Here is the view from the upstairs deck looking back toward Bocas. Nice.
Later in the day, we got some R&R at Red Frog beach on the northern end of the island.
